NC ★ SALT is family owned in coastal southeastern North Carolina. We specialize in Hand-Crafted Sea Salt products. Our culinary and body care offerings are made with sea salt harvested from the coast of our Brunswick County Beaches.

It all began as a science experiment. Taking local salt water, evaporating the solution and observing the product. Our three children were influential in the initiative and have been engaged since inception. They, like us, love to make the crunchy crystals.

Our water is harvested from EPA regulated Brunswick County Atlantic waters and is filtered twice before transfer into our food grade bins. We have been inspected by the State of North Carolina FDA.

We use passive methods of energy consumption. Our state-of-the-art salt box is made to withstand high heat and humidity levels, while our solar driven ventilation gives enough breeze to mimic a soft wind. This creates a close copy of the naturally occurring fleur de sel found in French salt marshes.

The salt is harvested and dried further in cheesecloth sacks before the sea salt is placed into its jar and ready to liven any dish.
