Genuine and Vintage Asahi Pentax cable release, made in Japan. Likely from the 1960's or early 1970's.  This cable release will fit Spotmatics, K1000's and all Pentax (and other brands of cameras and large format shutters) with a standard cable release socket.  Measures 12" and has a completely intact cloth sheath. This is a locking cable release that allows a long exposure by using the 'B' setting to hold the shutter open.
