For sale a Lumin A1 streamer/DAC.

This is my first Lumin streamer/DAC that exceeded my expectations in every way. The sound is smooth, organic, very quiet, analog like for a delta sigma DAC. The streaming feature works beautifully and flawlessly with Lumin own streaming app. Lumin’s support is outstanding. The firmware is updated automatically and up to date all the time upon you logging into the unit. It is just awesome!

I love it so much I bought the Lumin X1. I have owned many high end DACs with a separate streamer like the Chord Dave, Mola Mola, Denafrips Tplus, Holo May etc… With the Lumin A1, I don’t miss those at all and the sound is just right for a fraction of the cost. Also, the convenience of a one box unit is so clean. You save money on cables and space.

Where else can you get this high performance streamer/DAC combination for this kind of money. It was a $6500 a few years back so it was not cheap by any mean. it also has a separate linear power supply to further solidify its high end and high performance piece of equipment.

Although it doesn’t decode DSD beyond 64, it doesn’t bother me a bit because I don’t think you can hear much of a differences if any between the DSD files and the music streaming from Qobuz or Tidal etc… I owned over 10 TB of DSD files including some files at 64, 128, 256, and 512, I can’t hardly hear any difference. If you are searching for pure price vs performance, you want to seriously consider this A1.
