WHAT THIS IS:

Precision-engineered connector cap that snaps directly into the factory active air dam wiring harness connector on 2019-2025 RAM 1500 trucks. Provides a complete weatherproof seal after the air dam motor is no longer connected — whether due to motor failure, road damage, aftermarket bumper installation, or plow mount.

THE PROBLEM:

When the active air dam motor is no longer connected, the factory wiring harness connector is left exposed underneath the front bumper. Without proper protection, it is vulnerable to:

This cap provides weatherproof connector protection. If your truck is currently displaying codes related to the air dam system, those must be cleared separately with an OBD2 scan tool or at any auto parts store (AutoZone, O'Reilly, Advance Auto — usually free). Some owners also use AlfaOBD software to adjust BCM settings. Code behavior after air dam service varies by model year.
