This is a Premium Silver Ounce Silver Limited Edition Silver Ounce from the renowned Royal Canadian Mint. This issue is listed in the World Coin Catalog as a “Silver Maple Leaf bullion issue” (18th edition) and represents an official Maple Leaf special issue. The reverse features the stylized Thunderbird, an important protective symbol in Canadian indigenous culture, depicted as the guardian spirit of a totem pole and surrounded by maple leaves. The obverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II with the official Vancouver 2010 emblem next to the effigy. The coin impresses with its high purity of .9999 silver.
