What Is Cerakote?

Cerakote is a ceramic-based high-temperature coating designed to protect metal parts from heat, corrosion, and wear. Unlike regular paint, Cerakote is engineered for harsh environments like exhaust systems and engine components.

For exhaust manifolds, high-temp Cerakote:

Resists extreme exhaust heat

Helps reduce surface rust and corrosion

Provides a durable, long-lasting finish

Improves under-hood appearance with a uniform coating

These manifolds were properly sandblasted to bare metal before coating, which ensures strong adhesion and a long-lasting finish. The black Cerakote used is rated for high-temperature exhaust applications — not standard paint.
