La Lunatica is a character from the Marvel Comics series X-Men 2099, which is set in a dystopian future of the Marvel Universe. The series was created by John Francis Moore and Ron Lim and first appeared in 1993. La Lunatica is a mutant who possesses superhuman strength, agility, and endurance, as well as the ability to see into people's memories and emotions by touching them. She is a former member of a gang of mutant outcasts called the "Theater of Pain" and later becomes a member of the X-Men.
