Rare and beautiful burgundy genuine leather beauty/makeup/train case in very good pre-owned condition. Purchased in the 90s from HORCHOW (Neiman-Marcus) in Dallas. Any tags are no longer attached or with the case.

Very useful for travel but also for visiting friends or relatives with small children - medications can be locked up and not easily accessible to them.

This is an elegant case with smooth leather and patterned or embossed coordinating leather. Features are:

- quality leather exterior; tan interior (leather and vinyl)

- sturdy leather handle

- removable leather-framed mirror

- combination lock (code will be provided to buyer)

- an area to secure brushes or bottles etc, adjustable with leather strap

- hidden and removable (via snaps) jewelry/storage tray with slots for rings as well as open space for other jewelry or other items

- metal accents and feet

- measures approx. 12”w x 8-1/2”h x 8”d

There are no tears or dents with the exception of a nick on the handle (see close-up photo) but there are some scuffed areas which are normal for vintage items. Also, the seam (only visible when accessing the jewelry tray) in the area where the jewelry tray is removed has worn. Totally functional! Finally, the bottom of the case has dark spots from whatever.
