This
is a wonderful antique Dutch woolwork sampler, showing alphabets, numbers and borders.
It is stitched with multi-colored wool thread on linen cloth.
The sampler dates from circa 1900.
It measures approximately 13 1/2 x 22 inches or 34 x 56 cm.
The sampler is in good condition, considering its age. There are some small loose threads. The cloth is a bit discolored in some places. It has one hole in it, please see photo no. 5.
