The Australian Kangaroo is one of, if not, the most recognised Australian bullion coin ever made. The bounding marsupial design is a representation of Stuart Devlin's classic 'red kangaroo' design. This coin has always been a staple to all investors over the years.
The 2026 Kangaroo design captures the characteristics of this agile and powerful animal. Skipping across the barren earth, the kangaroo represents its unique elongated hind legs and large tail.
The coins reverse displays inscriptions on a wavy-lined border include ‘AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO’ and the coin’s weight, purity, and year-date. Within the artwork is the inscription ‘RED KANGAROO’.
The coin’s obverse depicts the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.
For additional peace of mind, the coin incorporates an authentication feature in the form of a micro-laser engraved letter "A". Detectable under a magnifying glass, it is designed to make it significantly more difficult for the coin to be counterfeited.
