Why Do I Want the Blu-Ray Multi-region Version?

You can quite often buy a Region A or C blu-ray movie before the same movie is at the Cinema in the UK! The discs usually work out much cheaper (especially for special editions or Disney Movies), with more features including extended editions or 'unrated, and a larger choice of titles than on Region B (UK & Europe). 

If you are into your horror, Japanese (e.g.Manga) or superhero (e.g. Marvel) movies then you need this player as you will get much wider title choices from abroad. Also many of the collectable special editions are not made for the UK.

All DVD players purchased in the UK shops are Region B as standard. Therefore, you need to modify a Region B machine to "multiregion" - this will then play any original Blu-ray movie, from any region in the world.

Why Do I Want the DVD Multi-region Version?

You can quite often buy a Region DVD movie before the same movie is at the Cinema in the UK! Almost all discs are available with DTS soundtracks as standard.
