Bastogne Walnut Live edge Slab

Rare and very desirable.  Highly figured grain. 

Surfaced sanded to 220 grit. on both sides. Mineral oil applied both sides to highlight grain.

Bastogne is a black walnut and English walnut produced by pollination.  Not a graft.  Also referred to as Paradox Walnut.  Used mainly for gun stock.

great for charcuterie/cheese board, cutting board, kitchen decor, craft, wall art.

Nice  figuring, including curl, birds eye, etc.  

Very strong and hard wood (harder than black walnut)
