MGB GT Rebuild Project – 80% Complete – Extensive Work Done

MGB GT rebuild project, approximately 80% completed, with thousands spent to date. A fantastic opportunity to finish a classic with most of the hard work already done.

Built April–May 1974. I have owned the car for 42 years. It was garage stored for 39 years until the rebuild began.

Body & Chassis

Completely rebuilt body shell

Professionally straightened on a body jig after welding

Heavy-duty underseal/undercoating applied

Replacement wings and doors fitted

Suspension bushes all replaced with modern materials

Original doors retained with door locks, winding mechanisms, and windows included

All screws replaced with stainless steel equivalents

Engine & Mechanical

Fully rebuilt engine, converted to unleaded fuel

New clutch

New flywheel

New starter ring

New starter motor

Rear axle inspected

Wheels & Tyres

5 new tyres

Wire wheels primed and resprayed
