This is a SAGE rod made in the USA from the days when it was very well-made. There are some small scratches from use, but overall it is in good condition and will be usable for future use. There is one crack in the guide coating (see photo 10), but it hasn't spread and hasn't reached the blank, so it's not a problem. Its action is what would be considered a medium-fast action today, but it's easier to use with anything than the overly stiff rods of today. The rod case is divided into compartments, so there is no bag. It will be shipped wrapped in bubble wrap.
