This 2011 release from Twister Chasers features storm chase footage of the May 22, 2011, Joplin EF-5 tornado. This disc is in good condition (note damage to center of disc -- see photos) and plays perfectly, with the following write-up on back:


On May 22, 2011 the unthinkable happened, an EF-5, 3/1 to 1 mile wide tornado developed within seconds and tore through the heart of Joplin, Missouri. Leaving in its wake complete and total destruction. The Joplin EF-5 ranks as 7th deadliest Tornado in U.S. history and more than likely will be the costliest.

Legendary and Emmy Award winning Storm Chaser Jeff Piotrowski and Storm Chaser Katheryn Piotrowski captured every stunning, heart gripping moment in HD and from two distinct camera angles. This footage is "the best tornado footage you will ever see" shot at incredibly close range from inside the wrap around of the tornado and within blocks of the violent core... flying debris pelting their chase vehicle "The War Horse."

With debris still falling all around them and the deafening roar of the tornado slowly fading, Jeff and Kathryn go into search and rescue mode... they were the first to arrive on Iowa St. which took a direct hit from the core of the EF-5. Jeff began pulling persons from the rubble and Kathryn pulled large twisted metal beam debris out of the road for rescuers and emergency personnel to gain access.
