Grainger and co Worcester chinoiserie tea set decorated with pagodas, trees, bamboo borders and gilt highlights. With markers mark and pattern number 2/1991 to the base. Eleven pieces in total including a teapot, creamer, sugar bowl, three saucers, four cups and a tray. They date from circa 1873.

All pieces are in good used condition, one cup has a repaired handle, the teapot and lid has some minor clean widely spaced glaze crazing otherwise there are no chips, cracks or crazing. There are some minor nibbles to the base of the saucers and some very minor wear and signs of use considering the age. One saucer is slightly larger, heavier and has a gilt rim. Cups measure nearly 7cm high and 6.5cm wide.

The tray measures 41cm by 34cm wide.

The teapot measures 14cm wide and 9cm high to the rim.
