Vintage ceremonial letter opener, made as a miniature sword, produced in Jerusalem / Holy Land, mid-20th century (circa 1950s–1960s).

This is a classic pilgrimage souvenir, featuring an ornate handle with the Jerusalem Cross. The piece is marked “Jerusalem” and “980”, indicating high-grade silver (98%) used in the handle and fittings.

The blade is decorative and unsharpened, designed for opening letters and desk display, not as a weapon.
