Rare Vintage ROYAL DOULTON Australian Fish Series 'The Old Wife' Wall Hanging Plate - 34cm

It's in VG Antique Era Condition, has some crazing (mostly on the back) from age, & No chips or cracks.
PRODUCT DETAILS:
Made in England this is a rare, large, antique Royal Doulton WALL HANGING PLATE (with a hanging mounting wire type cord on the back).
It's from the Australian Fish series titled 'The Old Wife'. Pattern number D.5966 crafted in 1930's.
Beautifully hand-painted with a low relief design of The Old Wife (fish species native to Australian waters) swimming amongst embossed raised style coral and marine plants (As seen in photos).
Special 1930's Royal Doulton makers mark on the back and stamped D5966 THE OLD WIFE REGD. IN AUSTRALIA.
Inspired by the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland. Would also make a wonderful Display Plate or decorative piece.
In great Antique condition.
