Two, Tung Sol VT-229, 6SL7GT tubes, military issue. Outstanding sonics. These are obviously, vintage US made, Tung Sol tubes, not the modern-day Russian made reproduction/re-issue of Tung Sol tubes. Black, round plates, smoked glass. Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Firm bases, excellent silvering. Tubes are matched for dynamic gain and structure- test at 1875-1875 and 1875-1875 where pass/fail is 1100 micromho. Tubes have the same exact structure inside and out, having date codes of "28" and "20", March 1943 and July 1942, wartime manufacture.  There are no emissions deposits on the top glass, these are either new, or very, very lightly used. One of the tubes has a hairline crack in the bakelite base.  The glass bulb remains very tight in the base, as this flaw did not occur from abuse, but was attributable to excessive outgassing and resulting expansion of the cement used at the time of manufacture.
