Hand made marble top Sideboard / Server / Buffet.

Attractively adorned with Hand Made Bronze Hardware.

Hand carvings, moldings and raised panel decorations.

The Front Cabriole legs have knee bend carving.

Exterior edge molding on Exterior shelf.

All four Cabrioet legs attaché to this shelf, approximately 5 inches above the floor.

Beautiful Native European Woods and hand polishing gives the Sideboard a fine antique glow.

Nice Century old patina.

This Sideboard was made in Bordeaux, France. The great wine region.

The interior 1/2 Shelf and base shelf have old Round Wine Stains from very small round wine bottles (

size of bottle stains helps validates the age of this sideboard)

The Marble was removed (by hand) for cleaning. Wine stains on the wood under slab were noted. (Permanent Stains)

The shelves were removed, the interior cleaned and wood preservative applied. (Stains were Permanent)

Normal expected age related wood shrinkage, finish wear, rubbing, bumps and bruises. and spilled wine is noted.

If only the sideboard could tell us the whole story.

Missing and Stripped out screws on backboard connector board and exterior shelf were replaced.

There is shrinkage noted on wood panels (no added finish is applied)

Also some expansion stress crack on Backboard veneers. A few end joint have short cracking (also due to age, shrinkage/ expansion)

The Cabriolet leg carved foot pads have some damage and missing pieces. (Caused from dragging this heavy item on floor)

The Marble slab has two spots of damage noted: Rear Left Side top Flake, Right Front Bottom Edge chipped.

(Believe these two items were caused from tools being used to lift slab) No repairs are made.
