This is a multi purpose tool to support your bassoon reed making. It functions as an easel (120mm) to support the cane whilst measuring and scoring (ruler in both mm and 1/16 inch), a concave indent to support the cane whilst sanding the reverse side, and a bevelling notch where you can attach a piece of sandpaper to create a perfect 30 degree bevel. The tool is 3D printed using a tough Polylactic Acid (PLA+). In the pictures two sizes are shown - the larger version is for contrabassoon and is under a separate listing. This listing is for the smaller, standard bassoon reed version. By default this comes with both mm and inches - Please include a note with your order if you only want mm or inches.
