STUNNING 1940's VINTAGE ART DECO STYLE NUDE LADY BONBON DISH / FRUIT BOWL

COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL GLASS BASEPLATE - VERY GOOD AS-FOUND VINTAGE USED CONDITION

For sale here is a stunning 1940's vintage Art Deco style bonbon dish / fruit bowl featuring a chromed figure of a nude lady standing atop a black ceramic/glass baseplate and holding aloft a moulded glass bowl. This has been a one-owner-from-new piece and I think was most likely bought in the late 1940's when the original owners got married.

I have never seen this exact design before but it is a seriously attractive piece and it has gained many admiring comments from friends and family who have laid eyes on it.

The piece stands approximately 26cm / 10" tall and with the free-standing base weighs 1300g.

CONDITION: Item is in very good as-found vintage used condition, the glass bowl top is in very good order with no damage to note, the black glass baseplate has one scratch (See photo). The metalwork shows age related patina but I have made no effort to clean this sort it should come up looking better after a proper clean. 

In need of a good new home, this will look as wonderful on a desk or shop counter as it would on a table in your home, selling for a very fair price, it took no small effort to stop myself from keeping this for myself!
