In asta un eccezionale esemplare della manifattura Election (Les Fils de L. Braunschweig) di La Chaux-de-Fonds, autentico testimone della "Golden Age" dell'orologeria svizzera degli anni '20. Questo orologio celebra il prestigioso "Grand Prix" vinto a Berna nel 1914, riconoscimento che ne attesta la superiore precisione cronometrica, e si distingue per la rarissima firma del rivenditore "E. Gander et Fils" sulla cuvette interna, un dettaglio di "double signing" che ne eleva drasticamente il valore collezionistico. La robusta cassa in argento massiccio 0.800 è impreziosita dai punzoni ufficiali del "Gallo Cedrone" (Svizzera) e della "Corona e Mezzaluna" (Germania), documentando la sua prestigiosa storia di esportazione europea. Al suo interno batte un movimento di alta manifattura con raffinata architettura a ponti separati (finger bridges), decorato a Côtes de Genève e dotato di scappamento ad ancora e bilanciere bimetallico compensato per la massima precisione termica. Il quadrante in smalto bianco "Grand Feu", assolutamente originale e privo di difetti evidenti, presenta eleganti numeri arabi in stile Art Déco e lancette in acciaio azzurrato, offrendo un’estetica senza tempo che precede la storica chiusura della fabbrica originale avvenuta nel 1931.
