Mit in Rot und Schwarz gedrucktem Titelblatt, 100 kolorierten Hauptkarten und 162 nicht kolorierten Nebenkarten. Einband insbesondere an den Kanten beschabt, vorderes Außengelenk etwas eingerissen (3 cm). Kleinere Eckfehlstelle im Metallrelief auf dem Vorderdeckel (ca. 1 x 1,5 cm). Seiten nur minimal gebräunt. Insgesamt gutes bis sehr gutes Exemplar.
Original half-leather binding with blind- and gilt-stamping in the style of Art Nouveau, illustrated endpapers, publisher’s emblem mounted as a metal relief on the front cover, and all edges red. 9th edition, newly revised from the ground up and newly engraved. Second corrected impression. With a title page printed in red and black, 100 colored main maps, and 162 uncolored subsidiary maps. Binding rubbed, especially along the edges; front outer joint slightly split (3 cm). Small loss to the metal relief on the front cover (approx. 1 × 1.5 cm). Pages only minimally darkened. Overall a near fine copy.
