This reproduction face plate will fit a 10-button, 1500 model phone manufactured by Western Electric and Stromberg Carlson from 1963 to 1968. The 1500 model was produced prior to the introduction of the 2500 model with 12 buttons, # and * sign.  Replacement 10-button faceplates are very hard to find.  Early model 1500's had a dark gray back-painted clear faceplate regardless of the body color of the phone. For the last years of production, 10-button phones were supplied with six contrasting colored faceplates (also back painted) chosen to complement--not match-- the body color of the phone as follows:

Your faceplate will be 3-D printed in PLA plastic which is similar in consistency to the original material. The front of this plate has a slightly textured pebble surface. Once printed and hand prepared, I hand paint the front surface with an authentic color which I specificially color-matched from vintage 1500 phones of 1963-1968.  (I can also paint a custom color of your choice not offered orginally on this model phone if you desire.)   

The vintage clear designation card cover, the reproduction 'area code' number card, and the colored phone parts shown in the pictures are NOT INCLUDED in this sale: just one of the plates shown in the first  images. However, I have two styles of custom designation cards as well as blank "area code" designation cards available and listed separately. If you purchase any of these cards for your faceplate, let me know.  I will install it on your faceplate and include a vintage clear cover at no cost. I will also refund any shipping charged to you above that for the faceplate alone.

I  did my best to depict and describe condition. Please view all pictures and ask any questions before purchase. North Carolina SALES TAX will be added. I pack up an mail items on Fridays and Saturdays. Depending on timing of purchase and your payment, handling time will be 1 to 7 days

For international buyers, I use ebay's Global Shipping program which uses a third- party shipper who offers combined shipping with restrictions. If you are an international buyer and buy multiple items, ebay will allow me to combine your purchases into one box for shipment ONLY if you wait to pay for all of your purchases at the same time using your shopping cart. Please note that Ebay uses the combined weights of all the individual items to calculate combined shipping. Unfortunately, Ebay will not allow me to offer any further discount on international shipping beyond the saving of shipping one package.
