This came from the east coast, was given to my dad by his step dad who lives in PA. It has never been used and I don’t know the story behind it. I am almost certain this came from the Amish community as most of these handmade wooden sets are, especially considering the topography of its origination.

With that being said, the craftsmanship is outstanding. Very solid set and the instructions scream “hand made.” Would make a great pass me down toy for generations to come.
