Installation Guide
- Ensure the vehicle is turned off and parked on a level surface. Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical issues.
- Locate the existing belt tensioner in your vehicle by consulting your vehicle's manual as necessary.
- Remove the belt from the existing tensioner by following the release method specified in your manual.
- Unbolt the old tensioner from its mounting position carefully.
- Position the new belt tensioner by aligning the bolt holes and securing it in place with the appropriate tools.
- Reinstall the belt onto the new tensioner, ensuring that it is properly seated.
- Reconnect the battery and start the vehicle to test the tensioner's functionality.
Important Notes
- Fits for 2012-2014 Honda CR-V with all engine types, ensuring specific compatibility with these models.
- Also suitable for 2002-2008 Honda CR-V models and 2003-2007 Honda Accord L4 2.4L engines.
- OE numbers to confirm compatibility include 38278, 31170RAAA01, 31170PNA003, 31170PNA013, 31170RAAA02.
- Universal fitment is not available with this part; confirm specific vehicle compatibility before purchasing.
