Item Description
The Atomos Ninja Phone gives creators the power to monitor, connect, collaborate and record on the world’s best HDR display. It keeps creators inside the phone ecosystem while enabling large sensor lens imagery. Ninja Phone connects phone only video production to professional cameras.
Working Mechanism
The Ninja Phone video co-processor encodes Apple ProRes to pass 10-bit, 1080p HDR video from a HDMI source, via USB-C, to be decoded by the iPhone’s powerful A17 processor. The result is virtually no latency (or ‘lag’) and professional quality images on the iPhone’s screen.  It is designed to clip to the back of the phone. Secured with screws, Ninja Phone incorporates mounting and powering options to fit any rig. This adjustability allows Ninja Phone to work with either the iPhone 15 Pro or Pro MAX, and means there is no need for a replacement if future models have different physical dimensions.
Super Lightweight and Versatile
Combining the Ninja Phone with an iPhone 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max creates a zero-latency monitor-recorder, with a user-friendly app interface which can be mounted to suit the needs of any production. Automatically adjusting to work in either landscape or portrait mode, the app allows users to work in their chosen format, with one-tap access to their favourite streaming platforms, or Camera to Cloud Workflows.
Better Image Quality
Ninja Phone’s 10-bit, HDR pipeline lets users see their images the way they’re meant to be seen.
Better User Experience
Ninja Phone is made for video on the go. A tiny footprint, cutting-edge technology and an intuitive app interface that knows when you’re shooting in landscape or portrait.
Better Cloud Integration
Ninja Phone is the perfect gateway to Atomos’ hyper-efficient cloud workflows.
Incredible Image Quality
HDR Monitoring Ninja Phone’s 10-bit, HDR pipeline offers incredible image quality to users with over a billion more colors than 8-bit video, and twice the color resolution. HDR monitoring allows creators to visualize their content with unparalleled fidelity – a true ‘see what you see’ experience.
Seamless Connectivity
Whether streaming to social media, uploading proxies to a C2C workflow or going live, it’s never been easier to stay connected from an Atomos device.
Endless Possibilities and Unlimited Potential
An app that knows whether you’re shooting in landscape or portrait. The full suite of Atomos monitoring tools. Control over your recording format and full connected flexibility. Ninja Phone has a solution for every workflow.
Lightweight
Ninja Phone is a super-light 94 grams. Combined with the iPhone 15 Pro Max, it’s an incredibly skinny 334 grams.
10-Bit HDR Pathway, A Billion More Colors
Professionals demand 10-bit, 4:2:2 processing because it shows accurate colors and removes contours between similar colors - so a blue sky looks real, and not like a painting-by-numbers picture. With 8-bit 4:2:0, you’re throwing away the subtlety and nuance, often leaving visible steps. You can’t repair that.
Latest Chip Technology
AtomIC 5, the next generation of Atomos silicon that allows for low power consumption and silent operation. The new chip also has exceptional USB-C connectivity.
