Modern instant cameras need modern films. This Polaroid Color Instant Film Pack includes 8 instant photographs to bring your moment to life in dreamy Polaroid color and finished in that iconic white frame. This color i-Type film is compatible with the OneStep 2, OneStep+, the Polaroid Now, and the Polaroid Lab. It’s battery-free so it won’t work for vintage cameras, but it will work for your budget.

Store Chilled

The fridge is your film’s best friend. Temperature affects how Polaroid film works. To keep your film in shape for shooting, it is recommend being stored in the fridge (not the freezer) and allowing it to reach room temperature (13-28 degree C / 55-82 degree F) before loading it into your camera.

Care for Your Camera

Clean rollers make for clearer photographs. Each Polaroid camera has a set of rollers inside the film door. If these rollers are dirty, the chemistry can’t spread as easily across the film frame. If they look dirty, give them a gentle wipe with a soft, damp cloth.

Shoot with the Light

Whether you’re using natural sunlight or a studio set-up, always shoot with the light behind you, or to your side. If you face the camera into the light, your photos can end up dark and blown out. It is also recommended to always use the flash to get great results — even if it’s a sunny day.

Develop in the Dark

You need light to get the best photograph, but you need darkness to let it work its magic. When you take a photograph, thousands of chemical reactions take place within that small film frame. To get the best result, let your photograph develop face down in a warm area that’s shielded from light.

Sonar Autofocus

Sonar autofocus uses ultrasonic waves to automatically measure the distance between the camera and your subject, adjusting the lens in real-time to ensure sharp, focused images. Whether you're photographing a person across the room or a close-up object, the camera does the work for you, eliminating the guesswork and improving the clarity of every shot.

Hyperfocal 4-Lens System

This advanced four-lens system is calibrated to a hyperfocal distance, meaning both your foreground and background stay in focus without any manual input. It's designed for fast, spontaneous shooting, allowing you to capture well-composed, crisp images whether you're taking portraits, landscapes, or street photography.

Powerful Built-In Flash

The Flip features Polaroid’s most powerful flash to date, automatically adjusting brightness based on the lighting around you. This ensures balanced exposure in every photo, whether you're indoors, outdoors, in low light, or bright sunlight. It helps eliminate harsh shadows and overexposed highlights, making your shots look polished and natural.

Scene Analysis

Intelligent scene analysis technology reads your shooting environment and optimizes exposure, flash strength, and shutter speed before each photo is taken. This means more consistent results and fewer failed shots. From bright daylight to dim interiors, the Flip automatically adapts to give you the best possible image.

i-Type Film Compatibility

The Polaroid Flip uses i-Type film, Polaroid’s latest generation of instant film, which develops into large, vibrant prints in the classic square format. Known for rich colors, soft textures, and retro charm, i-Type film gives your images a timeless, artistic look. It’s also more affordable than 600 film and doesn’t require a built-in battery, making it ideal for modern Polaroid cameras.

Flip Design with Lens Protection

True to its name, the Flip folds closed to protect the lens and internal components when not in use. This clamshell design is both stylish and functional, keeping your camera safe from dust, scratches, and damage during travel or everyday use. It also gives the camera a clean, minimalist profile when shut.

On-Camera Display and Shooting Modes

The built-in display lets you easily view camera settings like film count, battery life, and selected shooting mode. You can quickly switch between creative options—such as self-timer, double exposure, or flash control—right from the camera itself, no phone required. It’s designed for ease of use, even for first-time instant photographers.

Creative Controls via Polaroid App

Pair your Flip with the Polaroid app via Bluetooth to unlock powerful creative tools. Use the app to shoot remotely, manually adjust settings like exposure and aperture, or experiment with effects like light painting and double exposure. This level of control allows you to go beyond simple snapshots and create artistic, professional-style photos with ease.
