VINTAGE PENDLETON SHETLAND WOOL SWEATER – USA MADE – RARE XL BAGGY FIT – GREEN TWEED

This vintage Pendleton delivers everything people love about true Shetland wool: rich texture, refined heritage craftsmanship, and that unmistakable classic outdoor-meets-prep look. Made in the USA and knit from premium Shetland 100% virgin wool, the fabric has a beautiful green tweed depth with flecks of darker tones woven throughout — a stunning colorway and one of the softest Shetland blends Pendleton produced. The sweater feels barely worn, freshly dry cleaned, and has that high-quality drape and structure Pendleton is known for.

Condition is overall excellent visually, but the sweater has 5–6 small holes on the front (with the possibility of a couple more tiny ones upon close inspection). Despite this, the piece still presents wonderfully, with no stains, no odors, no thinning, and a soft, well-preserved handfeel. The knit integrity and color remain outstanding for its age.

Tagged XL and fitting with a relaxed, baggy silhouette, this is the oversized look that collectors and vintage Pendleton fans always search for. Most older Pendleton wool sweaters run tight or cropped, but this one wears roomy and easy, giving it a modern shape while keeping its classic lines.
