Wendt & Kühn (Kuehn) Angel Globe Music Box – No Key – Ihr Kinderlein Kommet "Oh Come Little Children" – German Wood Musical Carousel

Handcrafted music box by Wendt & Kühn (also spelled Kuehn), renowned artisans from Germany’s Erzgebirge region. This celestial globe features five seated angels on crescent moons, four are playing a musical instrument and one is singing using sheet music.  Ornaments are held by wire golden arms and features hanging wooden bells above. The piece is designed to play Ihr Kinderlein Kommet (Oh Come Little Children) via a Swiss movement. PLEASE NOTE: MUSIC KEY IS MISSING, UNTESTED, SOLD AS IS.  Since there is no key, music function is untested.  Please read full item condition details.

Sold as-is for display or restoration - KEY IS MISSING, so the music function is UNTESTED. One angel ornament has a chip on the pigtail tip (shown in photo). Globe shows light signs of previous ownership and in very good shape, gold metal rim has minor scuffs, but color is still all gold, no discoloration. A loose gold bar protrudes from the base—function unknown (shown in photos). Sold as-is. Music function has not been tested due to missing key. I cannot guarantee whether the music box will work once keyed or if the mechanism is broken.  Sold as is for restoration.  No returns.
