An attractive pair of Scottish antique William IV sterling silver sugar/serving tongs hallmarked in Glasgow for 1835 by J.T.  This pair of tongs have been designed in the form of a Kings pattern style with pretty decoration at the ends, shell features to clasp the sugar cubes and a spring action that remains in excellent working order.  There are initials at the end, which remain part of the history of these tongs, and they would be perfect to use.
