This Pilates Reformer is fully functional and comes with the stand, extra cords, additional wheels and pulleys AND a Pilates box from Aeropilates. Pictures shown are from the manufacturer - this item is boxed up, but was functional upon last use. This also includes the pull up bar which expands the repertoire of exercises that can be done. There is some wear visible on the reformer in terms of minor scuffs, worn cord, some wear on the coating of the footbar, etc. but it is fully functional and smooth upon last use (I bought a professional grade reformer and discontinued using this one after a few years of light use - due to having a different reformer). This item is in the Raleigh, NC area and local pickup is the only option available. It is already boxed up in a wardrobe box ready for its new home!
Note: the Aeropilates system uses cords rather than springs. Cords are similar to springs - but do tighten up somewhat quicker than springs do. That can actually be advantageous in that the resistance builds nicely. Replacement parts, when needed, can be purchased from Stamina fitness products. Also note - if taken off the stand, this reformer could be folded up for storage if you prefer that option.
