Not sure whether this is pure silk or just silk-like but so pretty and made in Japan.
Have described the pattern as Paisley as looks like that.....was bought by my Aunt when she lived in Paisley, years ago, so could well be.
Comes in a deep burgundy colour with a red & gold pattern.....these pics don't really do it justice.
Priced to sell as I'm not an expert on the material. The label seems to have frayed but you can make out that it's made in Japan - a really lovely item, measuring 28" square.
