Glacier Express – Basic Set (3-Car Set)
● Ge4/4-III Locomotive (No. 647)
・Faithfully reproduces road number 647 with the bold RhB (Rhaetian Railway) logo on the sides
・Updated front-end appearance featuring redesigned lighting area
・Headlights replicate the HID/LED style with a modernized design (white LED used)
・Replicates the repositioned electric couplers, jumper cables, and the Graubünden coat of arms (emblem) on the front in shield-style plate
・Brake hoses on both sides of the front are reproduced as separate parts
・Equipped with a coreless motor for smooth and quiet operation
・Standard Arnold couplers
・Minimum turning radius: R150
・DCC-compatible by replacing the light board with item #29-025 DN163K4a (available through Hobby Center KATO)
・Packaged in a paper box

・Passenger doors feature lowered window design as seen on the prototype
・Frosted end-wall glass pattern is faithfully reproduced
・Underframes and bogie frames are finished in bluish gray
・Both 1st and 2nd class cars feature revised interior colors (black/brown tone) to match the actual car interiors
● Excellence Class Car
・Gold stripe on the border between red and blue-white body colors, and “EXCELLENCE CLASS” lettering above the side display faithfully reproduced
・End of the car connected to the locomotive has no gangway bellows, and the door shape has been modified
・Accurately replicates the 1+1 seating layout, tables, and bar space extending from the end of the car to the first window
・Side windows are partially closed or downsized to reflect the bar installation area
