This is WH Goss vase. It may be a Goss & Peake vase as this ware was only manufactured for a small period of time.
In great condition some scuffs and black marks to the terracotta body see pics but no chips or cracks this is well over 100 years old.24cm tall and about 16cm widest point.
Around 1868 William Adams Peake joined Goss in partnership and they traded as Goss & Peake.
Together they manufactured terracotta - the reddish brown earthenware had suddenly become fashionable - making wine bottles, jardinieres and vessels Greek and Roman style - the manufacture of this ware only covered the years 1867-9.
There’s a century of dust and dirt inside!!!
