These are exceptionally lovely stones, the TANZANITE is of course from Tanzania. These are AA Grade deep coloured stones, not treated. This is the only place in the world where this stone is mined and it is 1000 times rarer than Diamond.
FIRE OPALS are from Ethiopia, also of AA Grade and beautifully Opalescent with a wide play of colour. Fire opals always look better in reality, than in photos as it is movement that shows off the 'fire' within.

The Beads measure approx 4-6mm, and being handcut the size and thickness varies.
The beads are quite simply alternated, and lightly graduated. The stones are the stars here. The Tanzanite is smooth round, and Fire Opal is lightly hand faceted which just gives that extra glow.
Necklace is 18.5inches/47cm in total.
Threaded on Beadalon Jewellers Wire and finished with 9ct Gold 2 and 3mm end beads and crimps and approx 6mm 9ct Gold Spring Bolt Clasp and Loop (stamped 375).
