Stars Of The Lid's first album for the Kranky label (and second overall) established them as trailblazers on the forefront of the ambient / noise / post-rock scene of the late 1990s. This CD
[krank020] was one of the first records to appear on the Kranky label, issued without a barcode in 1996.
