Before we elaborate on item specifics, we want to point out that one side of the kiss clasp is missing. Otherwise this purse is in excellent condition!

This is a vintage child's music box purse from the 50s or early 60s. It is an unbranded item. The "bon voyage" travel theme displays signage of Bern, Paris, San Juan, Venice, and Honolulu. The purse measures 6 x 4.75 x 2.75"

It has a music box built into it, and it works! We tested it today multiple times! See the video. The wind-up key is on the bottom. Initially, the music box (which hadn't been active for decades) stalled, we found that a light tap on the bottom prompted it to start again! We can't identify the tune.

The vinyl out layer appears to be free of cracks or breaches. The interior is likewise in beautiful condition!

We found only one other purse like this one (which plays a more familiar tune) priced at $98. Theirs has the complete clasp and we priced ours at a discount because the one piece is missing!
