RivertOne (pronounced RIV-er TONE, the capital O is supposed to look like an LP) 476-D6C, a High Quality Generic Replacement Stylus for

    This is a Special One-Time Purchase that I have already made that allows me (Phono Jack) to sell you this stylus at such a discount. In 2001, a friend owned a record store down the street from the store I used to manage. He was retiring and closing the record store (a lot of such stores closed a few years before. He offered the owner of my store all of the styluses he had for sale at a great price. My employer balked, as CD sales dominated the market. I did not think twice! I marched down to the ATM and got cash. I have sold a few pieces every now and then, but now, I am organizing my stuff and selling them on eBay at less than half the price that they were sold for.

    These styluses rival the performance of the original Audio-Technica styluses at a fraction of the cost.

    $17.95
    However, I purchased some of them from a record store in 2001. All of the styluses I purchased have red colored plastic grips. I made my purchase and saved a couple of bucks, and I am now passing the savings on to you!

    Some Fisher, Hitachi, Kenwood, Marantz, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Sanyo, Technics, and Yamaha turntables came with the OEM cartridges, pre-packed with the turntables. To further complicate things, several SONY cartridges were discontinued in the 90s. These were the "dark days" of the turntable (presently, more new vinyl records are sold every day than new CDs)! I was in store management for dealer for many major brands, I was there at the time, so I know what happened!

    Anyway, when dealers tried to order styluses for the models of SONY cartridges that were no longer made, we received new SONY cartridges to sell to our customers who wanted a stylus!

    So........
    Some SONY turntables that say they have one of the older cartridges actually have the replacement cartridges with incompatible styluses. What do You HAVE,? to look at the numbers on the cartridge. Look at the photos. Does your old stylus look like this one? If not, send me a picture in your message (Ask Seller a Question link, lower left of this page) of your stylus and/or cartridge. I probably have the one you need. LOOK at what you have, save frustration bu confirming before ordering. Match the cartridge number up with the numbers in this listing.
