This is a brand new Innova Star Halo IT, 175g, in un-thrown condition. This orange and pink disc has a green foil stamp, and is made of Innova's durable yet grippy Star plastic. The gold foil stands out really well on this beautiful disc.
The stamp on this disc is from the 2024 Challenge at Creek, held in Escondido, California. This tournament was a PDGA A-Tier and USDGC Qualifier. I was the TD for this tournament, so I have a few discs left over. The stamp commemorates the creek that runs through the course, and the coyote who shows up to spectate during most rounds I have played there.
The IT is a great point-and-shoot fairway driver disc - it holds whatever line you put it on, as long as you don't overthrow it. It can hold a great anhyzer line and is even reported to be a good roller disc. The IT has a flight rating of 7, 6, -2, 1. What does that mean? It means that it is a medium speed flyer with a large amount of glide, flips up at release and finishes with very little fade. Here's what the Innova web site has to say about the IT:
The Innova IT was developed to go straight and far, effortlessly. With ITs gentle turn and unmatched glide, tightly wooded fairways feel open and attackable. When another Fairway Driver would fade and drop, IT holds on the line of release and carries. Great for standstill and low ceiling shots that still need to get distance. IT also makes an exceptional roller disc, even when new.Single discs are shipped in bubble envelopes with a cardboard insert, multiple disc orders are shipped in a box.
