LIONEL ONE #KW 190-WATT TRANSFORMER
MODEL (R) RECONDITIONED-NEW CORD-TWO CARBON ROLLERS-16 AMP DIODE-SEALED CIRCUIT BREAKER-CLEANED-UPDATED-SERVICED-TESTED-LIKE NEW PLUS PLUS OPERATING CONDITION
LIONEL ONE #KW 190-Watt Model (R) Postwar Transformer, made from 1950-1965, will run 2 Trains. It has been completely disassembled and cleaned in and out, serviced with no chips, cracks, or breaks, lite scratches on case and base, as shown in pictures, is in Like New Plus Plus Operating Condition. I have Replaced the two Carbon rollers and rivets, replaced the Whistle Rectifier Disc with a new 16 Amp Capacity Stud Diode, which is more reliable than a rectifier disc. A new sealed circuit breaker was installed, a new transformer cord with (L) on plug. The top nameplate is in Excellent Condition, as shown in pictures, and the Base plate is very nice, has Original Paint. A 6-page copy of the original instruction sheet is included.
The voltages are Great, and this Transformer is Ready for many more years of service. I tested the whistle controls with a 6026W Tender, which read an output of 25.58 volts. The circuit breaker was tested, and the red light comes on when shorted and goes off when short is removed. I cleaned the excess carbon off of the coil assembly. I cleaned binding post nuts, cleaned contact arms and contact tabs. I lube the transformer's moving electrical parts with Dielectric contact lubricant. THE LAST ONE!!!
The voltage output at full throttle: A-U 20.22 Volts. B-U 20.20 Volts.
The fixed voltages: C-D 13.10 Volts, C-U 6.90 Volts, D-U 20.18 Volts.
I recondition, repair, and test all transformers I sell. I tested this transformer before the disassembly, after the recondition, and after I sell the transformer.
This is a Postwar Transformer made to be used on Postwar, Prewar, and Standard Guage Trains.
The shipping weight will be 11 Pounds.
