A wonderfully characterful Brannam Barum pottery cat, signed on the base “Ch. Brannam Barum 1910”. This tall 12-inch ceramic figure has all the eccentric charm associated with early 20th-century Brannam animal pieces from Barnstaple, Devon.
Glazed in deep blues and greens with expressive detailing, it’s a striking decorative piece with real personality and plenty of age.

This piece has extensive historic restoration.
There are multiple glued repairs to the torso and neck, several visible crack lines, and areas of glaze loss/touch-ins, all shown clearly in the photos. It remains stable and displays well, but it is not in original condition.
