This offer is for One (that is all I have) Original Audio-Technica Stylus, your choice, either the 0.7 mil conical ATS-10 or the 0.4 x 0.7 mil elliptical ATS-12. These Styli were originally marketed by Pfanstiehl (the original Pfanstiehl, from Waukegan, IL as their models 200-D7C and 200-DET. These are exact matches for Audio-Technica cartridges AT-10 (aka VM8-D7) and AT-12E, respectively. They are interchangeable with AT-11 and AT-11E The 200-D7C/ATS-10 is a slight downgrade to the AT-11, while the 200-DET is a slight upgrade to the AT-11E.

Do not use any of these styluses if you have an Audio-Technica AT-13-anything, as the cartridge body is different than the other AT-13s.

These Styli exactly matches the Following Audio-Technica Cartridges:

  • The AT-10 and VM8-7D cartridges are a direct match for the Pfanstiehl 200-D7C (Red, 0.7 mil bonded conical) stylus
  • The AT-12 cartridge is a direct match for the Pfanstiehl 200-DET (0.4 x 0.7 mil bonded elliptical) stylus
These styli will also fit (they have the same body-type) the following:

  • The AT-11 cartridge had a yellow stylus that was also 0.7 mil bonded conical. The 200-D7C stylus is a slight downgrade, the AT-11 stylus had an improved cantilever and tracked lighter. The 200-DET stylus is am upgrade.
  • The AT-11E cartridge had a green stylus that was 0.4 x 0.7 mil bonded elliptical. The 200-D7C is a downgrade. The 200-DET is an upgrade (the AT-12 stylus has an improved cantilever (compared to the AT-11E.)

AT THE TIME OF THE LISTING:
I am fairly certain that I have Pfanstiehl styluses with the number 629. These are generics, but great styluses, none-the-less. If my memory serves me correctly, these were made in the USA before the year 2000, when Pfanstiehl was in Waukegan, IL. Pfanstiehl was purchased in 2000 and, according to many, production quality suffered. If I find my 629s, I will list theme in this offer, and clearly indicate they are generics.
