View in St Ignace, Michigan circa 1907-1915 showing the railroad tracks leading to the loading dock in the Straits of Mackinac.  The huge ferry Chief Wawatam (the Chief) would load the trains on to the boat for transport to Mackinaw City in Michigan's lower peninsula.  This dock collapsed in 1984 ending the railroad ferry operations.  This postcard was never posted.
