This is a bassoon reed straight shaper available in the style of 18 well-known shapes, and in a choice of up to 12 colours. It is 3D printed using tough Polylactic Acid, an environmentally-friendly bio-plastic, with stainless steel shim added to the sides for high resilience.
It includes a removable piece of foam which holds the cane flat against the shaper when shaping profiled cane.
The WAM1 shape is a blend of Christlieb-style shape at the tip and Herzberg-style shape at the butt.
