Large antique wall map of the Republic of Mexico published by the Department of Agriculture. The map shows all Mexican states and major cities, road networks, railroads, and rivers, mountain ranges and altitudes (shaded relief), the surrounding bodies of water: Golfo de México, Océano Pacífico, and the borders with the United States, Guatemala, and Belize.

Baja California is still one territory (before division into Norte and Sur). The U.S.–Mexico border includes the modern shape (post-1853 Gadsden Purchase).
