This adorable “Crawling Baby” is a rare vintage mechanical wind-up toy, manufactured by Modern Toys (MT), Japan, most likely in the late 1950s to early 1960s. Modern Toys was one of Japan’s most iconic post-war tin and mechanical toy manufacturers, known for producing high-quality wind-up and battery-operated toys that are now highly collectible.
