For Sale: Vintage Edox Chronograph w/ Valjoux 7734 movement From the late 1960’s to 70’s
I have owned this Edox for a long time, bought it probably
at least 18-20 years ago. It is a striking watch Dark Blue dial, Silver sub
dials w/ red seconds and sub dial hands. Lume is Tritium, long since lost its
luminescence, however it can still be excited with a UV light. The lume only
lasts a few minutes, however. I have enclosed a couple of photos to show what
the lume would look like when the watch was new.
Condition:
Crystal: mineral glass with some minor swirlies, no cracks
or scratches.
Bezel: Black, Fixed 60 minute bezel. The bezel may have been
rotating at some point, but it appears to be fixed.
Dial: Dark Blue dial with triangular polished metal indices
filled with Tritium. Silver sub dials Red sub dial and seconds hand. Tachmetre track.
Stick
hour and minute hands with Tritium. Date
window at 6 O’clock.
Case: Cushion case in nice condition, no nicks gouges or scratches.
Crown: unsigned
Caseback: Closed with engraving
Movement: manual winding Valjoux 7734 w/ date.
The watch will come on a dark tan Hadley Roma strap, used
but with plenty of life left.
