F Knight and Co are listed as the suppliers of hardware for the Ritz Cinema Aldershot built in 1937. There are no period photos that show the doors clearly enough to confirm, and the original doors were replaced at some point post-war. The style scale, and the location they were purchased from, does point to the Ritz as their original place of work, but the aforementioned is the best i have for their providence. They're as you can see from the photos, flamboyant and in keeping with a commercial property that enjoyed and wholeheartedly indulged the Art Deco style.

Please study the pictures as they form part of the description. They also show that one of the bar supports is off-axis to the others, which results in a slight misalignment of the bar. The strength or fitting is in no way affected, and it is only noticeable on close inspection. There are also the marks and wear you would expect for the age.

These are a well-conceived design that captures the period's architectural fashion well while remaining individual and unique.
